Child Health Surveillance

Babies 8 weeks check are done at the surgery by the doctors. During this appointment the doctor will check the child’s development and discuss any concerns that you may have.

Travel Advice

We offer advice on all types of immunisation for those travelling abroad. Please make a routine appointment when planning a holiday. Immunisations should start at least two months before your holiday. We provide NHS vaccines for free and there is a charge for private prescriptions, non NHS vaccines and certificates, in accordance with British Medical Association recommendation

Long term Condition Management

We run Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, Dementia, Epilepsy, Heart Disease, Hypertension, Mental Health care, Osteoporosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Learning Disabilities, Thyroid, Stroke and Spirometry.

Immunisation

We feel very strongly that your child should be protected from the serious illnesses of childhood by having the immunisations as recommended by the Chief Medical Officer. Please bring your child’s red book.

Maternity Care Clinic

Wednesday am, (by appointment). This clinic is run by the midwife.

Minor Surgery

Minor surgical operations, such as removal of warts and joint injections, are available by appointment. Please consult a GP in the first instance

Health Checks

We offer and encourage patients to have health checks as soon as you register with us. We will also attempt to offer you an appointment for an NHS health check if you haven’t been seen for another reason in three years.

Special Clinics

We offer Adolescent and Young people’s health, Contraception and Sexual health, including LARC, coils & Cervical Cytology, Pertussis vaccinations, Alcohol risk, Seasonal influenza, Shingles, Rotavirus and Pneumococcal.
